Megan O’Donnell

Director of Community Engagement & Advancement

Megan O’Donnell is the Director of Community Engagement & Advancement at Camelot for Children. A two-time cancer survivor and former Camelot kid, she first came to Camelot in 2004 after being diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. During a time filled with medical appointments and uncertainty, Camelot gave her joy, creativity, and a sense of belonging when she needed it most. Returning now in a leadership role represents a true full-circle moment and fuels her commitment to supporting the same children and families who once supported her.

With a background in communications and experience spanning digital marketing, media, partnerships, and community storytelling, Megan brings a strong foundation in relationship-building and community engagement. Her career has focused on connecting people to meaningful work and expanding impact through thoughtful partnerships. In her role, she leads efforts across programs, partnerships, and advancement, helping to grow community relationships and resources that make Camelot’s mission possible. Outside of her professional role, she is a self-taught painter, an ambidextrous bowler, and an adventurous spirit who has both bungee jumped and swum with sharks. She is honored to serve the Camelot community with the same care, encouragement, and heart that shaped her own journey.
