On June 17, 2026, the Camelot for Children community will gather in Allentown, Pennsylvania for a meaningful Day of Inclusion at Camp Camelot, honoring the life and legacy of John Patrick Brislin, one of our cherished Camelot children.

John brought a gentle spirit, quiet joy, and a deep appreciation for the moments when he felt truly included. One of those moments happened on the basketball courts at Camelot. It was a place where connection, movement, and belonging came together for children of all abilities. For John, the court was not just a place to play. It was a place to feel confident, capable, and part of something bigger.

This special day invites families, supporters, and community members across the Lehigh Valley to come together in celebration of inclusion, friendship, and the power of accessible play.

Why We’re Fundraising

In John’s memory, this campaign will support improvements and upgrades to Camelot’s basketball courts, helping ensure the space remains safe, accessible, and welcoming for children living with serious, chronic, or terminal medical conditions.

These courts are more than a recreational feature. They are a vital part of Camelot’s inclusive programming model, where children can build confidence, develop friendships, and experience the joy of being fully included, regardless of medical complexity.

Location: Camelot for Children, 2354 W. Emaus Avenue,  Allentown, PA
Date: Wednesday, June 17, 2026
Time: 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM

Important Registration Requirement: To ensure the safety of all participants and maintain a secure environment for children living with medical complexities, all attendees must complete and sign a participation waiver prior to the event. Additionally, all children must be accompanied by an adult/parent/guardian.

This includes:

• Parents and guardians
• Children and siblings attending
• Volunteers and guests
• Community members participating in activities

The waiver will be provided by Camelot when you arrive for the event. Completion of the waiver is required in order to participate in activities during the John Brislin Day of Inclusion.
