Camelot wants to give special thanks to Yasmell and Joemy, our summer interns! Both are incoming seniors at their high schools, Yasmell at Parkland High School and Joemy at William Allen High School. The two were paired with Camelot through their entrepreneurship program ran by the Fe Foundation. This program included a one-week intensive stay at Northampton Community College, where participants worked on company pitches in small groups. They had the chance to receive expert mentoring, present their idea in front of a panel of judges, and participate in 1 Million Cups Lehigh Valley. During their internship at Camelot, they were able to attend our final week of camp and learn about the technicalities of maintaining a non-profit after camp. Joemy and Yasmell explained they both feel honored to have had such wonderful mentors as Emily and Lisa. They are grateful for everyone they have met and everything they have learned at Camelot over the last few weeks and will forever cherish the memories they have formed. Camelot is grateful for their contributions to that enrich the lives of our children and families.
