Summer Camp at Camelot
Each summer, Camelot for Children offers a magical day camp experience for children ages 6–19 who are living with chronic, serious, or terminal medical conditions—and their siblings too. From mid-June through July, campers come together to build friendships, grow their confidence, and enjoy a safe, inclusive space full of adventure.

Who Can Attend
We serve children between the ages of 6–19 who have been diagnosed with serious, chronic, and/or terminal illnesses. Siblings are welcome and encouraged to join.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, campers must:
- Be independent with bathroom use, dressing, and eating, or attend with a qualified caregiver
- Be able to participate in group activities and follow basic routines
To best ensure the safety and comfort of our children, staff and volunteers, we cannot accept or retain children whose needs go beyond what our model and resources can accommodate. This includes children who:
- Are at risk of elopement
- Display abusive or self-injurious behavior, or use inappropriate language
- Avoid social interaction
- Cannot tolerate loud noises
- Struggle with changes in routine or authority
All applications are reviewed by our team, and acceptance is based on whether our program can meet the child’s needs while maintaining a safe and positive community.
