Abby – Junior Board President Senior Spotlight

Camelot is proud to highlight one of our outstanding volunteers, Abby Nguyen, from Southern Lehigh High School. Abby is not only a dedicated Senior Junior Board Volunteer, but she has also stepped into the role of our new Junior Board President.

Outside of Camelot, Abby is actively involved in her school and community. She serves as Secretary of the National Honor Society and Key Club, is a member of the French Honor Society, and also works as a Teen Counselor.

When asked why she chooses to volunteer at Camelot, Abby shared that she loves seeing how the kids grow and come out of their shells. Watching their interactions with other campers and buddies brings her joy, and she strives to be a dependable buddy and friend to the campers by volunteering as often as she can.

Her favorite Camelot memory is the last day at the Splashpad, when all campers, buddies, and staff come together to celebrate and enjoy the water. For Abby, these moments of joy and connection are what make Camelot so special.

Looking ahead, Abby plans to pursue a Pre-Med track after high school, with the goal of specializing in pediatric special needs care.

We are so grateful for Abby’s leadership, dedication, and heart. As our new Junior Board President, we are excited to see how she will continue to inspire her peers and make a difference in the lives of our campers.
