Fun at Friendsgiving

Camelot children were able to make cards for kids at the local Lehigh Valley Children’s hospital and decorate them with fun stamps and stickers. They made their way over to our food table where they were able to indulge in some typical dishes from a Thanksgiving feast that was graciously donated by our children’s volunteers & families, including turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans, and more. Of course, once they finished their first course, there was a choice of apple or pumpkin pie to enjoy! They made their way outside to enjoy the playground and play a game of pin the feather on the turkey! Another craft they were able to do was make a turkey card for members of a local nursing home. The kids were able to pick out some colorful feathers and use some fun stickers to decorate their turkey. They also wrote a heartfelt and festive note! In the end, we all took a fun group photo, and the kids were over the moon about getting to come to this fantastic event!
