Today’s Senior Spotlight features Kirkland, a dedicated senior at Allentown Central Catholic. Kirkland is a standout student who balances a variety of activities, excelling both academically and athletically. She plays for the Central Varsity Lacrosse team and serves her community in multiple ways. Kirkland volunteers with Equi-Librium, the Central City Project, and the Historic Bethlehem Partnership. She is also a Student Athletic Trainer, a member of the National Honor Society, and a Viking Ambassador.
Kirkland has a special place in her heart for Camelot, where she volunteers. When asked why, she shared, “The joy and smiles from the kids are priceless. They teach me something new every day, especially to keep smiling.” Her favorite part of volunteering at Camelot is being part of the children’s journey and witnessing their growth.
After high school, Kirkland plans to pursue a degree in Business Management. With her strong work ethic, dedication, and passion for helping others, there’s no doubt she will continue to shine in all her future endeavors. We can’t wait to see what’s next for her.
