Summit Project to Benefit Camelot for Children

Hello Everyone! My name is Trey Wachob, and I am a Boy Scout from Minsi Trails Council and in Crew 364 of the Venturing BSA program. I am an Eagle Scout from Troop 71 and have been involved in the Scouting program for almost 14 years. I recently graduated from Lehigh Carbon Community College with an A.A. in Education. I am currently a student at Kutztown University, where I am studying to earn my B.S. in Chemistry, and hope to one day be a teacher. During my time in Scouting, I have served in many leadership positions and on summer camp staff for 7 years, helping run summer programming for kids aged 7-20. I am now working on my Summit Award, which is the highest award in the Venturing program. This award requires a “Summit Project” (much like an Eagle Project), which I chose Camelot to be my beneficiary for! After seeing the amazing work that Camelot does, and our shared vision of helping, educating, and providing opportunities for children, I knew that they were who I wanted to work with for this project.
The goal for the project is to collect over $2,000 worth of material and cash / check donations, and we’re already making great progress toward our goal! Please share this flyer around and consider donating if you can! Here is a link to a list of needed materials. Together, we can make a positive impact on this wonderful organization and the children it supports!
