Avia, Junior Board Secretary
Avia is a member of Saucon Valley High School’s 2022 graduating class. Her activities include volunteering at Camelot, Cross Country, Taekwondo, Track and Field, Debate team, SPIRIT, Model UN, mini Thon, and Global Scholars.
When I asked why Avia volunteers at Camelot, she responded “I volunteer for the children. The ability to provide a safe environment is the most honorable. Additionally, I have grown so much as a person developing professional skills and most importantly, empathy. Camelot has given me so much and I hope I will be able to give it just a fraction of that. ”
When asked what she likes about volunteering, Avia answered, “the people! Camelot truly is a family and that’s what makes the magic not just of childhood, but volunteering. I’m forever grateful for the people I have met Camelot. “
After high school, Avia plans to attend a four-year university, attend graduate school, and become an epi-genetics researcher making policy recommendations. She also looks forward to coming back every summer to Camelot and being a forever supporter!
